Victoria Prooday, Clinical Director, Occupational Therapist, MSc, OT (Reg.) Ont.

As a devoted wife, mother of two children, and passionate registered Occupational Therapist, I am driven by the latest breakthroughts in neuroscience and the brain's remarkable ability to change and rewire itself. With the principles of neuroplasticity at the heart of our approach, together with my amazing team, we provide a range of services to children and parents. Our overarching goal is enhansing children's functional, social, emotional, and academic success, regardless of whether they have special needs or not.

As the founder and clinical director of a treatment center, we specialize in helping children with self-regulation issues, Autism, Anxiety, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities. Our approach is unique in utilizing multi-sensory tools such as music, dance, drama, and art to achieve therapy goals and unlock kids' potential and wire their brain for success. We are honored to have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of hundreds of children each year.

I believe that the key to helping children is through empowering parents with practical tools to become their kids' life coaches. Having firsthand experience in parenting two children in the modern technological era, I understand the difficulties involved even for professionals working in the field. Therefore, I have dedicated my life's work to helping parents nurture successful children despite the modern-day pitfalls. I offer parenting consultations to around 800 families annually and reach thousands of parents worldwide through my lectures and blogging. My parenting advice has reached 24 million people through my blog, and my article titled "The Silent Tragedy Affecting Today's Children" has been translated into 30 languages and reached 30 million readers.

As a frequent speaker at various professional events, including daycares, school boards, and universities, I understand that many professionals face significant challenges due to outdated teaching tools that were effective a decade ago. In my lectures, I provide practical tools and tricks that help professionals teach today's kids effectively. Many educational institutions have adopted my philosophy, resulting in remarkable transformations in their students.

I hold a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the Medical School at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University. I have gained working experience from various positions with the Toronto School Board and Toronto Rehabilitation Institute.
